NFL Quarterback : Tom Arth
-
Following Manning's footprints Tom Arth also started his career as a quarterback player for the Indianapolis Colts. For Manning's new contract the team had to emancipate 7 players in which Arth was the third preference. At that time Tom was a second year player who was on the Colts reserved/non-football injury list. He uprooted Nate Hybl, a player of Cleveland Browns of Europe, when they were the part of Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe. He quarterbacked the Claymores to one victory out of seven. A hiatus came in his career when he suffered from a dislocated shoulder and mutilated upper mouth in his senior season at John Carroll. NFL Europe gave him every possible shot to restore himself as NFL prospect. But, he was signed by Indianapolis and was transferred to NFL Europe to recover his game and attempt for a roster spot to be held during the spring season. He participated in the game but didn't play which was difficult for him to reconcile. The veteran coaches also hold the view that Arth has the mechanism to play well in the NFL. He is capable of making the plays a happening sport to enjoy since he has a mighty arm to throw the ball with his full vigor.
